Human Rights Day is being celebrated at FICCI Auditorium at 4.00 PM on 10th December 2014
The National Human Rights Commission has adopted Human Rights Pledge to be taken on Human Rights Day on 10th December, 2014.
A copy of the Pledge is given below :
HUMAN RIGHTS PLEDGE
I hereby solemnly pledge,
That I shall bear true faith and allegiance to all human rights and that I shall fulfill all my duties for the promotion and protection of those rights,
That I shall respect and uphold the human rights of all without any discrimination whatsoever, and that I shall not, directly or indirectly, through my thoughts, words or deeds violate the human rights of others.
