The National Human Rights Commission is organizing a Conference on "Implementation of National Food Security Act, 2013 in relation to Children & Lactating Mothers and Pregnant Women" on 27/10/2017 at New Delhi.

The National Human Rights Commission is organizing a one day Workshop on 'Elimination of Bonded Labour System' at Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration (YASHADA), Rajbhawan Complex, Baner Road, Pune, Maharashtra in collaboration with Govt. of Maharashtra under the Chairmanship of Justice Shri D. Murugesan, Member, NHRC. The workshop scheduled for 01/09/2017 has been postponed due to some unavoidable circumstances. The new date for workshop is 06/10/2017.

The National Human Rights Commission is organizing a South Regional Conference on Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act, 2012 during 5-6 September 2017 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The objective of the Regional Conference is to review the infrastructure available in the States for the protection of child rights and implementation of these legislations. In this Conference the States/UTs of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangena, Kerala and Puducherry will be covered.
