United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)

I)  The UN Human Rights Council plays a vital role in:- 

●  Addressing violations of human rights. 

●  Issuing recommendations to member states

●  Offering a global platform for dialogue on pressing human rights issues. 

II)    It actively engages with:

●  UN officials and independent experts,

●  Member states and National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs)

●  Civil Society organizations and other international stakeholders. 

The Human Rights Council (HRC) convenes three regular sessions annually, in March, June, and September at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.
