Justice Sujata V. Manohar, Member of the Commission participated in two important international meets in the field of human rights in the month of May. She delivered a keynote presentation on the application of International Human Rights Law at the Domestic level, with special reference to Violence Against Women and Access to Justice, at the judicial colloquium for judges from the Caribbean countries, which was organized by the United Nations, Division for Advancement of Women in collaboration with the Government of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas on May 17-19, 2004 at Nassau, Bahamas. Later she also attended an Expert Group Meeting in the Review of the 2004 World Survey on the Role Women in Development organized by the United Nations' Division for the Advancement of Women at New York on 20-21 May 2004, which examined issues relating to women and Migration.
