The National Human Rights Commission organised a painting competition on the 27th September, 2014 for children of its employees as part of the Foundation Day celebrations. More than 100 children in three age groups from 5-8, 9-13 and 14-17 years participated in the competition. They were given three different themes on human rights issues to paint on. These were 'Democracy and Human Rights', 'Human Rights and Cleanliness', and 'Human Rights Awareness', respectively.
