In a new development violating the rights of a child, Special Rapporteur of the Commission Shri K.R. Venugopal has brought to the notice of the Commission that children from Tamil Nadu are now being trafficked to several States such as Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Orissa, Chattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh for labour in snacks manufacturing units.
