Commission organized Painting Competition
To commemorate Human Rights Day, the Commission organized a Painting Competition on December 1, 2007 in co-ordination with an NGO - Butterflies, for vulnerable children.
The theme of the competition was Environment. Forty-eight street/vulnerable children representing various NGOs from all over Delhi took part in the competition. The competition was adjudged by Smt. Aruna Sharma, Joint Secretary, NHRC; Shri Ram Kishan, Programme Manager, Christian Aid and Mr. Gerry Pinto from Butterflies.
The winners in the age group of 9-12 years were: First - Vishal; Second - Shweta; Third - Imran; in the age group of 13-15 years: First - Sumit Kumar Prasad; Second - Akash; Third - Komal.
