Dignity to the name of a village in Rajasthan restored

There is something to cheer about for the people living in the village 'Kuwan Ka Vas' which had been changed to 'Chamaron Ka Vas' in Hingota Panchayat, District Dausa of Rajasthan. Pursuant to the directions of the Commission, the Rajasthan Government has informed the Commission that the village has been given back its original name. However, the State Government's response on the action taken against the guilty insensitive official who gave a derogatory name to the village is still awaited.
