The NHRC Chairperson, Justice Shri S. Rajendra Babu has condoled the death of Dr. N.H. Antia, a leading Cosmetic Surgeon. In his condolence message to Mrs Antia he said Dr. Antia as the Chairman of NHRC, Core Advisory Group on Health, had made valuable contribution. His contribution on various health issues including maternal anemia, HIV/AIDS and access to health care are of immense significance and his recommendations in this regard to the Commission are of great value, the

Justice Shri S. Rajendra Babu said his demise has created a vacuum in the movement of Rights to Health.
