Continuing with its consultations with State Govern-ments, SHRCs and civil society to prepare for its report to the UN Human Rights Council on India's Universal Periodic Review (UPR), the NHRC organized a meeting in Jaipur on the 26th July, 2011, for the Western Region in collaboration with the Rajasthan State Human Rights Commission, covering Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat and Rajasthan. Mr. Satyabrata Pal, Member, Mr. J.S. Kochher, Joint Secretary (Training) and Dr. Savita Bhakhry, Deputy Secretary (Research) attended the meeting.
