Foundation Day Function celebration in NHRC
The NHRC employees presented a colorful cultural programme to mark the Commission's Foundation Day on 12th October, 2008, in FICCI Auditorium, New Delhi. These included classical and popular vocal recitations. Three group folk dances from Bengal, Punjab and Gujarat and two satirical plays were also staged namely, 'Office-Office' by the officers and the staff of the Commission. Another play 'Taj Mahal Ka Tender', was staged by the professional theatre artist's group of RAS` Society, Delhi. The Commission also organized various sports activities engaging in-house talent to mark the Foundation Day celebrations. These were held in the month of September and October. Six sports events were organized which included Badminton, Volleyball, Cricket, Carrom, Musical Chairs, Athletics for both men and women.
