Mr. Frans Weisglas, Speaker of the Netherlands House of Representatives along with the Chairpersons of the main Political Parties in the Netherlands Parliament visited the NHRC on 21 March 2006. The delegation was accompanied by a group of journalists from their country and officials of the Royal Netherlands Embassy in India.
A brief presentation was made on the functioning and mandate of the NHRC, which was followed by a question and answer session.
