In-house training programmes


a. Training Programme for Class IV staff
As a follow up of the earlier Training in June 2006 for Class IV employees, who had requested for computer exposure, a computer training was organized by the 'Training Division of NHRC, on 17th, 19th and 24th July 2006. Twenty two class IV employees of the Commission attended the training. The training was imparted with the help of Computer Division of NIC and the participants were apprised with the basic knowledge of the computer and day-to-day work of computer in the office.

b. Training Programme for Group 'C' Staff
Training programme for Group 'C' staff was held in the Court Room of the Commission on 28th and 31st July 2006 in two batches in which 55 Group 'C' staff comprising Jr. Accounts, Stenos, UDCs and LDCs working in different division of the Commission participated. A number of topics including File Management, Duties and responsibility, Conduct Rule, Attitude and behaviour were covered in four sessions. Enhanced use of computer in the Commission and its benefit was also discussed during the programme. The staff was also sensitized about the human rights and related issues.
c. Training for Drivers and Despatch Riders of NHRC
Training Division in continuation to the in-house training of Staff members of NHRC, took up training programme of staff car drivers and Despatch Riders. The training was technical, hence outsourced with Automobile Association of India (AAI).
Routine safe driving including imparting road sense, reading traffic signals properly, routine maintenance of vehicle and methods of minor correction of faults and identification of defects, fire safety, first aid, Do's Don'ts of driving and etiquette of drivers formed a part of the training.
The training Programme for the staff car drivers and Despatch Riders was conducted by AA Foundation for Safety, on two Saturdays at Delhi Flying Club, Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi. The training was attended by 14 drivers (13 staff car drivers and one Despatch rider). All the participants were given course material, certificates and two of them namely Shri Yashwant Chandra, posted with GA section and Shri Bhopal Singh presently posted with GA Section won shields in the quiz contest.
