The Training Division of the Commission organized a Short Term Attachment Programme for the students of National Law School of India University, Bangalore from 21st to 27th January, 2009. During the programme they were given various research based project works aimed at exposing them to the Commission's activities. To sensitize them on human rights related issues, more than 20 lectures were also organized. The interns were also given hands on training on various stages related to complaints handling in NHRC. At the end of the programme, the interns gave power-point presentations on their assigned project works.
