A group of students from the Asia Pacific Human Rights Information Centre, Osaka, Japan who visited the Commission on 26 July 2004. Their visit to the Commission was part of a study tour to India to learn about 'The Rights of Women and Empowerment in India'.
During their interaction with officials of the Commission, they were briefed on the working of NHRC, how complains are handled and on the rights of women.
