Shri Satyabrata Pal, Member, NHRC addressed a group of media persons on 19th February, 2013. He responded to several questions on various issues of human rights which included, among others, human trafficking and missing children, clinical drug trials, death penalty and the Commission's experience of "open hearings" in five States on com-plaints of denial of rights to SCs and atrocities against them.
