The National Commission for Women, NCW, in collaboration with National Human Rights Commission organized a day-long national conference on Human Trafficking on the 23rd November, 2011 in New Delhi. The conference was divided into three thematic sessions, which were chaired by the Members of the NHRC and the NCW. The themes included 'Human Trafficking-Vulnerability Mapping', 'Dealing with Human Trafficking: Legal Framework' and 'Integrated Plan of Action/Programmes/Scheme for Empowerment of Trafficked victims'.
