National Workshop on Women's Rights
A two-days Workshop on Women's Rights was organized on October 14 & 15, 2006 by the University College of Law, Dharward, Karnataka. The Workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Justice Shivaraj V.Patil, Member, NHRC.
In his inaugural address Justice Patil reiterated that it is essential for every woman to really feel that she is also a human being as much as man, and has rights to develop and live life with dignity. About 350 participants attended the workshop.
