NHRC constitutes its Core Group on Bonded Labour

The National Human Rights Commission has constituted its Core Group on Bonded Labour in order to give further impetus to NHRC's efforts towards elimination of Bonded Labour. It aims at reviewing existing government policies, acts, rules etc. on the Bonded Labour from human rights perspective, and suggesting modifications and amendments therein to meet the objective.
The members of the Core Group comprise academicians, legal experts, representatives of NGOs and former civil servants.
