NHRC-IGNOU programme for police trainers
The National Human Rights Commission, NHRC, in collaboration with IGNOU organized a three day training programme in human rights for the trainers of the police personnel at IGNOU Campus, New Delhi on the 15th June, 2011.
The programme was attended by twenty two senior level police officers from states including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Arunachal Pradesh.
The aim of this training of trainers programme was to prepare a group of master trainers in all states who would be able to facilitate and moderate the basic online training programme for police personnel at cutting edge to be conducted at state/ district level across the country.
