Shri S.C. Sinha, Member, NHRC visited Kakinada, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh and took stock of the implementation of various social welfare schemes and the functioning of Children Home, Anganwadi Centre, PDS Shops, Community Health Centre and Public Health Centres. He gave on-the-spot recommendations for improvement in the functioning of the concerned public authorities wherever he found it necessary.
