NHRC notice to the Chief Secretary Delhi Government and Delhi Police Commissioner over farmer's suicide (28.4.2015)

New Delhi, Dated: 28th April, 2015
The National Human Rights Commission has issued notices to the Chief Secretary, Government of NCT of Delhi and Commissioner of Police, Delhi calling for a report in the matter of a farmer's suicide at the time of a political rally at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi on the 22nd April, 2015. They have been given two weeks to respond. The notices have been issued on the basis of complaints alleging violation of human rights of the victim.
