Smt. Sumedha Dwevedi, Senior Superintendent of Police, Shri T. Raveendran, Section Officer and Smt. Monia Uppal, Inspector attended a Pilot Blended Learning Course on 'Women and Girls' Human Rights' organised by the Asia Pacific Forum of National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) at Kathmandu, Nepal from the 13th - 17th April, 2015. Prior to this, the participants had undergone an online training for five weeks. They were sensitized on the issues and challenges faced in the implementation and delivery of human rights of women and girl child and guided in addressing them. The representatives from NHRIs of Afghanistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Maldives also attended the course.
