The National Human Rights Commission is organizing an Essay writing competition in Hindi for the Dalits (Scheduled castes) on the subject "66 years of independence & the condition of Dalits: An evaluation" in a bid to encourage creative writing in Hindi on various subjects pertaining to human rights. The competition is open only for the Scheduled Caste citizens of India. Entries for this should be sent in 4 copies along with the authenticated copy of the caste certificate by post to the Assistant Director (OL), National Human Rights Commission, Faridkot House, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi-110001.
