NHRC's one month long 11th winter internship programme on human rights concluded in New Delhi on the 20th January, 2011. Mr. Justice G.P. Mathur, Member, NHRC congratulated the interns, and expressed the hope that now they would utilize their knowledge for the protection and promotion of human rights.
46 students from different institutions and universities from the States and Union Territories attended the internship programme, which commenced on the 22nd December, 2010.
The aim of the internship programme is to sensitise students about various aspects of human rights.
