NHRC Secretary General, Mr. K.S. Money visited Kerala and on the 27th May, 2010 met with the Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Director General of Police, Additional Director General (Prisons) and other senior officers and reviewed the NHRC references pending with the State Government. He also visited the Central Jail, Thiruvananthapuram and the District Jail, Kollam on the 28th May, 2010.
Mr. Money inaugurated a training programme organized by the Indian Council of Social Welfare, Kerala State Chapter, at Ernakulam on the 29th May, 2010.
The Secretary General also visited Central Jail, Jodhpur in Rajasthan on the 31st May, 2010 and reviewed the facilities.
