The National Human Rights Commission took suo-motu cognizance of a distressing media report which stated killing of 22 years old student Kuldeep by the Hisar Police near Bhiwani in a fake encounter due to mistaken identity. The Commission issued notice to the Director General of Police, Haryana, District Magistrate, Bhiwani, SP, Hisar/Bhiwani to take appropriate action with regard to investigation of the case as per the guidelines of the NHRC.
