Sunil was booked in a case under Section 107 CrPC on the 12th September, 2005 by the Delhi Police. He committed suicide by hanging himself at Police Station, Adarsh Nagar, Delhi. The Commission found that he was arrested on concocted charges. The sentry on duty in the Police Station was not vigilant. The Commission on the 6th April recommended a relief of one lakh rupees to the next of the kin of the deceased.
