The National Human Rights Commission in collaboration with the Indira Gandhi National Open University organized an online training of police personnel on human rights from 9th -13th January, 2012. 115 police personnel from police training institutes of Rajendra Nagar (Delhi), Madhuban (Haryana) and Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh) participated in the programme. As part of this exercise, 'Training of trainers programme' was also organized to prepare a team of resource persons to train police personnel online.
