Justice Shri Cyriac Joseph, Acting Chairperson, NHRC decided to add some new dimensions to the Foundation Day celebrations of the Commission. Therefore, for the first time, he along with the two Members of the Commission, Justice Shri D. Murugesan and Shri S.C. Sinha, held an interaction with the officers and staff of the Commission in order to give them a sense of participation in the efforts to improve the various aspects of the Commission's functioning. Apart from this, he along with the two Members held an interaction with the media persons and shared with them the key features of the Commission's activities over the last 22 years of its existence. He also answered their queries on some current issues of concern with respect to human rights.
