Our Training Programmes
In the month of August 2008, the Training Division of the Commission organized a number of training programmes :
§ Tanveer Mahila Prashikshan Evam Shikshan Sansthan (NGO), Farukhabad District of U.P. conducted a one day Training on Human Rights on August 10, 2008 in collaboration with NHRC. Atleast 490 Gram Pradhans of Farukhabad District and representatives of NGOs participated in the programme.
§ Creative Education and Development society (CEADS GROUP) (NGO) at Etah, UP conducted a one-day promotion and protection of women's rights and free legal aid camp on August 17, 2008 in collaboration with NHRC.
§ Akshaya Rehabilitation Trust, Madurai, Tamil Nadu conducted a three one day Seminars on Disability Human Rights on August 16, 24 and 31, 2008 at Madurai, Sivangangai and Viruthunagar Districts in collaboration with NHRC.
§ Bhartiya Manavadhikar Association, Hathras conducted a one day Training Programme for awareness on Human Rights at Hathras in collaboration with NHRC on August 29, 2008. About 200 participants including NGOs took part in the programme. Shri Akhil Kumar Jain, Secretary General, NHRC was the Chief Guest while Dr. Sanjay Dubey, Director (Admn.), NHRC, was the resource person.
