Two staff members of the Indonesian National Commission for Human Rights (KOMNAS HAM) were attached to the National Human Rights Commission, India in April-May 2008. During their placement, the staff members got an in-depth knowledge of the working of the Commission. Every Division of the Commission briefed the visitors on its working. They also interacted with the Chairperson and Members. During their stay they visited the National Commission for Minorities and the Punjab State Human Rights Commission.
Shri Y.S.R. Murthy, Director Research, and Shri B.S. Nagar, Under Secretary, Co-ordination, supervised the work of the KOMNAS HAM staff members.
