Programmes of the Training Division in April 2007
Justice Shivaraj V. Patil inaugurates one-day training on 'Human Rights for Judicial Officers' at Ranchi conducted by Judicial Academy, Jharkhand, Ranchi in collaboration with the National Human Rights Commission on April 14, 2007. Those attending the training included Judicial officers, Superintendents of Police and Senior Executives of Coal India Ltd.
· "Citizenship Development Society", a Delhi based NGO conducted a two-day seminar on "Human Rights Awareness" at Jaipur in collaboration with the National Human Rights Commission on April 12th & 13th, 2007. 75 teachers from Kendriya Vidyalayas of Jaipur region participated in the Seminar.
· A one day, in-house training programme for new inductees who joined the Commission from September 2006 onwards, was held by the training division on April 28, 2007. The participants numbering 25 were given an insight into the working of the Commission.
