Apart from the large number of cases taken up daily by individual Members, 262 cases were considered during the three sittings of the Full Commission, and sixteen sittings of Divisional Benches in August, 2011. In 54 cases, listed in the table below, the Commission recommended monetary relief amounting to a total of Rs. 1,10,10,000/- for the victims or their next of kin, where it found that public servants had either violated human rights or been negligent in protecting them.
