Shri A.K. Parashar, Joint Registrar (Law), NHRC was awarded the Karamveer Puraskar at a function on the 27th February, 2014 in New Delhi for his contribution to human rights issues while working in the Commission in various capacities.
The Puraskars, instituted by the Indian Confederation of NGOs, are the global awards for social justice and citizen action.
