Shri C.K. Chaturvedi, B.Sc., LL.M. (Delhi), joined the National Human Rights Commission, NHRC as the Registrar (Law) on the 1st December, 2016. Prior to this, as an officer of the Delhi Higher Judicial Services, Shri Chaturvedi worked as a District Judge and also served as the President of New Delhi District Consumer Redressal Forum. He also served as the Chief Legal Advisor in Delhi Development Authority. He is the working President of All India Judges Association and visited Greece for human rights studies. He has also authored a book "Legal Control of Marine Pollution". He is credited with several important judgements addressing the concerns on human rights.
