The Commission bid farewell to its Secretary General, Shri P.C. Sen, on 1 May 2003, following the acceptance by Government of his request for voluntary retirement. Shri Sen, an IAS Officer of the Madhya Pradesh Cadre (1967 batch) had assumed the position of Secretary General and Chief Executive Officer of the Commission on 6 August 2001.
