On the 29th October, 2013, Shri S.C. Sinha, Member, National Human Rights Commission, briefed a group of media persons on the health related issues, which will be taken up in the National Conference on Healthcare as a Human Right to be organized by the Commission in New Delhi in the first week of November, 2013. He said that despite adopting a multipronged approach towards strengthening availability, affordability and accessibility to healthcare services, several challenges continued to remain. Underlining the concerns on the low budget allocation to the health sector, he said that due importance should be given to health and education to have an advantage of the world's largest young population for demographic dividend. People should have good health, good sanitary conditions and safe drinking water. Shri J.S. Kochher, Joint Secretary (Trg.), Shri Viplav Kumar Choudhry, DIG, Dr. Savita Bhakhry, D.S.
