Ganga Ram Dinesh Bhai, aged 25 years, and Chhagan Bhai Jaswant Bhai, aged 28 years, choked to death while cleaning a sewer on the 24th May, 2005 at Palam Pur City, Gujarat as they were not provided the safety kit by the concerned authority. The Commission recommended a relief of three lakh rupees each to the next of the kin of both the victims on the 13th April, 2009.
