SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME - 2010
Fifty interns selected from different institutions in the country are attending the Summer Internship Programme of the NHRC, which started on the 17th May and will run till the 15th June, 2010. It is the thirteenth Summer Internship Programme of the Commission which started in 1998.
Addressing the inaugural function, Secretary General, Mr. K.S. Money welcomed the interns and hoped that their attachment at the NHRC will motivate them to work for the promotion and protection of human rights. Tracing the history of the human rights, he enlightened the interns about the importance of these rights. Joint Secretary (P&A), Mr. J.P. Meena was also present among other senior officers at the inaugural function.
