Summer Internship Programme- 2012
Dr. Rajiv Sharma, Secretary General, NHRC inaugurated a month-long summer internship programme - 2012 of the Commission in New Delhi on the 14th May, 2012. He hoped that after gaining knowledge during the programme, the interns would work for the protection and promotion of human rights, and spread awareness about theserights through their respective institutions, friends
and colleagues.
Earlier, Mr. J.S. Kochher, Joint Secretary (Training) said that the aim of the internship programme is to sensitize the young students about the various aspects of human rights issues. Dr. S.K. Jain, Senior Research Officer (Training) is the coordinator of the programme.
