M r. Surajit Dey joined the National Human Rights Commission as the Registrar (Law) on the 30th October, 2017. Born on the 4th December, 1970, Mr. Dey, after completing his higher education including LL.M, joined the West Bengal Judicial Service in 1999. He has held different positions as a judicial officer including the Registrar in the Supreme Court of India. He was promoted to the cadre of District Judge in the year 2013.
