A five-day training programme for police officers from the North-east States was conducted from 4 - 8 October 2004 at the North-eastern Police Academy, Shillong, Meghalaya. 30 police officers of the level of Officer Commanding, 2nd Officer Commanding and Supervisory Deputy Superintendents of Police participated and were briefed on different aspects of Professional Policing and Human Rights.
