A one-day workshop for the sensitization of Jail Superintendents of Chhattisgarh on the human rights of prisoners was organized by the Commission in collaboration with the Jail Department of Chhattisgarh at Raipur on 8 January 2005. Shri Chaman Lal, Special Rapporteur of the Commission briefed the participants.
