A five-member delegation from the Zambian Permanent Human Rights Commission, led by its Chairperson Mrs. Justice Lombe P Chibesakunda, visited the Commission on 28 May 2001.



The delegation was in India from 26 May to 5 June at the invitation of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi. It held a meeting with the Chairperson and senior officials of the Commission and discussed matters relevant to the human rights situations in prevailing in India and Zambia.
