Commission bids farewell to Justice Smt.Sujata V. Manohar

The Commission bid adieu to Member, Justice Smt. Sujata V. Manohar, who demitted office on 27 August 2004. Justice Manohar joined the Commission as Member on 21 February 2000 and was nominated as the Focal Point on Women as well as HIV/AIDS. Highlighting her contribution in the field of Human Rights, especially that of the rights of women and children, Hon'ble Chairperson Dr. Justice A.S. Anand said her retirement is indeed a loss to the Commission. Other Members and Staff also paid glowing tributes to her at the farewell held in the Commission on 27 August 2004.
