Child labourers rescued <br> (Case No. 3139/30/8/09-10-CL)<br> <br>

Media carried a report on the 24th October that 15 child labourers aged between 12 to 17 years were working in some clothe factories in Kotla, Mubarakpur, South Delhi. They were rescued on the 23rd October, 2009. It was alleged that most of them were from Bihar and West Bengal. They were not getting even the daily wages for work. The Commission issued a notice on the 29th October to the Commissioner of Police, Delhi and Labour Commissioner, Government of NCT of Delhi calling for a report in the matter.
