Woman denied admission, delivers a baby infront of the hospital: NHRC issues notices to the Chief Secretary and the Health Secretary of Delhi Government <br>

The National Human Rights Commission has issued notices to the Chief Secretary and the Health Secretary, Government of NCT of Delhi calling for detailed reports within two weeks on a complaint alleging that a woman was forced to deliver a baby infront of the emergency gate of Dr. Ambedkar Hospital, Rohini, when the doctors refused to admit her. The incident is reported to have occurred on the 11th July, 2011.

The complainant prayed for action against errant doctors of the hospital and has sought compensation for the victim of medical negligence. He also requested the Commission to issue directions to the concerned authorities for stopping the recurrence of such an incident in future.
