Human Rights issues in a Counter Terrorism Environment at Awantipora, Jammu & Kashmir<br>

Mr. Sunil Krishna, Director General (Investigation), NHRC attended a seminar on 'Human Rights issues in a Counter Terrorism Environment', organized by the 36 Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters Victor Force at Awantipora, Jammu and Kashmir on the 10th April, 2012.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Sunil Krishna highlighted the Global perspective of human rights with special reference to Jammu & Kashmir. Other speakers included, Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Mohan Bhandari, Brigadier Sudhir Rai, Commandant, 92 Base Hospital, Vijay Kumar, IPS, DIG (Traffic), Jammu & Kashmir Police and Rajesh Raina, Editor, ETV.
The seminar was chaired by the General Office Commanding of 15 Corp, Lt. Gen. S.A. Hasnain.
