Homage to former President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam

The National Human Rights Commission, led by its Acting Chairperson, Justice Shri Cyriac Joseph, paid homage to the former President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, who passed away on the 27th July, 2015. The Acting Chairperson, Members, officers and staff of the NHRC held a Condolence Meeting to mourn the sad demise of the former President on the 28th July, 2015.
In his message, Justice Shri Cyriac Joseph described Dr. Abdul Kalam as a genius, visionary and humanist who is an icon for the youth. He said that in Dr. Kalam's demise, the country lost a great citizen, who was loved and respected not only by the Indians but also by the global community.
Later, Justice Shri Cyriac Joseph also placed a wreath on the mortal remains of Dr. Kalam.
